Dr. Poonam Lathiya
PI / Lab DirectorDr. Poonam Lathiya earned her B.S. and M.S. in Physics from Delhi University, Delhi. She then moved to the University of South Florida, Tampa, Florida, USA, for her doctoral studies. She worked at the Center for Wireless and Microwave Information Systems in the Electrical Engineering Department. Her Ph.D. focused on next-generation magneto-dielectric substrates for RF/Microwave devices and antenna design. She received various honors during her Ph.D., including awards from the prestigious IEEE and American Physical Society, as well as a 3-Minute Thesis award from the University of South Florida. Before joining IISER Bhopal, she worked as a Quality Reliability and Substrate R&D Engineer at Intel Corporation for over two years. At Intel, she gained expertise in substrate manufacturing, pathfinding, advanced graphics, and advanced semiconductor packaging technologies.
